All that it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. America is in great crisis including the group of kids between 12-18 years old. Since evil has pervaded America, we have an awesome opportunity to serve this critical human need.
Jesus calls us to respond to human need through compassion: (love and action) not by insulation or pity.
1 John 3 (NIV)
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for one another. 17 If any one of you has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in you? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
God please use me to meet the need that is set before me.
I will offer him nothing that does not cost me something; did you give until it hurt?
In America we hunger for love but we do not give it to one another.
Houses don't fulfill your heart, cloths, positions, money, cars don't bring joy only Jesus brings full joy and contentment to your soul. When you have that joy you serve people, God serves it though you.
You can go for the money, you can go for prestige, you can go for titles, you can go for people, but nothing will fulfill you like loving Jesus Christ and letting him serve through you because you are a pencil in the hand of God.
You are either going to make your world a better place or you will make it worse.
May he literally find you qualified and prepared to do the work which would be your finest hour?
